 Singer D'Angelo was arrested just a few days ago for solicitation after he propositioned an undercover officer. According to the New York Post, the 36-year-old who's real name is Michael Archer, picked up a woman during the early morning hours and allegedly offered her $40 for oral sex. (What he didn't know was she was an undercover police officer). Consequently he was arrested and charged with solicitation. The singer also had $12,000 stashed in his SUV. Previously D’Angelo was arrested in 2005 for driving with a suspended license and driving under the influence in his home state of Virginia. He was fined and received a suspended jail sentence after pleading guilt This will probably mean that the rumoured upcoming album 'James River' will probably not see the light of day for a while.
